Happy Family Sign Time

Fewer meltdowns. More connection. Less guessing.

Happy Family Sign Time is a live, virtual basic sign language course that helps families communicate with young children before — and during — early speech development.

Live virtual online class basic sign language program · Ages 0–6 years

Happy Family Sign Time is a live program designed to help parents and young children communicate before and during early speech development through fun, engaging sessions that build real connection. Available virtually or in-person to fit your family's needs.

350+ signs · Ages 0–6 · 30-minute sessions · Virtual or in-person ·

Before children can speak, they can communicate

Teaching simple signs reduces frustration, supports emotional expression, and strengthens the bond between you and your child. With consistent use, signing supports:

  • Language development — Signing builds vocabulary and phonological awareness alongside spoken language.

  • Emotional regulation — Give children the words and signs for their feelings before speech matures.

  • Social connection — Meaningful communication from the earliest age deepens family bonds.

  • Early cognitive growth — Learning a visual language strengthens memory, attention, and pattern recognition.

  • Special needs inclusion — Supports children with speech delays, sensory differences, or hearing differences.

  • Fewer frustrations — Babies who can sign their needs have fewer meltdowns and more moments of joy.

What your child will learn, stage by stage

Our program meets your child exactly where they are — from early grasping stages through the busy toddler and preschool years.

0–6 months · Building the foundation: parents learn core signs. Babies absorb language through exposure, eye contact, and repetition — the groundwork is laid before you even realize it.

6–18 months · First signs emerge: Babies begin signing back — milk, more, all done. Reduce frustration before speech develops and watch the connection deepen.

18 months–3 years · Language explodes. Toddlers combine signs with words, building vocabulary, emotional skills, and confidence. Communication becomes a superpower.

3–6 years · Expressive communicators Preschoolers deepen their signing alongside growing speech, storytelling, and social skills — and begin to share what they know with others.
