Meet Marlane Stempko

Lane_edited.jpg

I began my teaching career as a program aide at Perkins School for the Blind. I worked with Deaf/Blind students supporting daily living skills training with lead teachers. While I earned my Deaf studies certificate from a local University. I am proficient in American Sign Language and a solid understanding of Deaf culture.

My experience in early childhood education teaching at two local preschools. I achieved my lead teaching qualifications for infants and toddlers and gained professional developmental trainings each year. I have worked to develop developmentally appropriate curriculum, created lesson plans, and organized engaging environments for authentic learning outcomes.

As I continued to grow professionally, I became a licensed family childcare provider through Massachusetts Early Education and Care, owning and operating Little Green Apples Child Care. Unfortunately, Covid-19 closed our doors after being in operation for 10 years.

My goal is to create a virtual sign language series designed to help parents communicate with their children and enable children to express their needs and desires with ease.

I’m excited about the opportunity to collaborate with you!

Marlane
